Letter from Benjamin R. Stevenson and John James Fraser to His Excellency The Governor-in-Council. – 1 November 1873. – 1 p. of textual records. Stevenson and Fraser formed a committee of Council directed to make arrangements for immigration to New Brunswick for the year 1874. Copy of letter from John James Fraser to The Hon. The Minister of Agriculture. – 19 January 1874. – 1 p. of textual records. Fraser states that the New Brunswick Government has made arrangements for the creation of two colonies to consist of 50 families each and that Thomas Potts and George Troup are organizing the settlers’ passage to the province.
